A walk through time.
I rarely take photos. These photos belong to different times and places. However, I do like to capture the essence of an event that brings me more joy than other days. Then, I edit it to my heart's content. While I edit, I always ask myself, "What type of mood best describes the picture and how do I bring it into life?". I always want whoever who looks at it to feel as if they belong in the moment. This is my point of view, after all. I get euphoric too when I hear my friends and family say they like my photos of them the best, because to me, that meant that they like what they saw through my eyes the best. Some photos are better when it is grainy and moody, just like the rainy clouds hovering over the city. Other photos are better off with enhanced vibrance and life. I only started to properly document my photos because I regret that I do not remember some events in my life. I want to know what it looked like then, but my memories can only access so much. So, to avoid these events from slowly disappearing into the recesses of my brain, I take out my phone, position it at the right angle, and snap. One snap, and it comes to life. One snap, and I remember everything.
I do take videos too, but I never got to edit most of it. Here is one that I have of my trip in India. Enjoy.
